Once in place you need to enter operation mode by pressing left ALT.
Use this to position yourself on a good runway. One you have the fighter spawned ingame you can drive it much like any other vehicle. For this explanation I'll help you get the default fighter off the ground. Flight controls in brick rigs depends very much on the creation you're flying.
